Overnight closure of I-10 westbound at I-110

Anticipate overnight closures of I-10 west at I-110 on April 17, 18, 19 and again on April 24, 25 and 26, 2026.

Baton Rouge – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) announces lane closures as part of the I-10 Widening Project in East Baton Rouge Parish. These closures, which are necessary for the progression of the project, will affect night traffic patterns.

DOTD advises motorists that construction activities are contingent on weather conditions and may be subject to change.

Nighttime Closures:

  • I-10 Westbound Flyover to Mississippi River Bridge
  • Friday, April 17 to Monday, April 20
  • Nightly full closure from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.

  • I-10 Westbound Flyover to Mississippi River Bridge
  • Friday, April 24 to Monday, April 27
  • Nightly full closure from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.
