Baton Rouge – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) announces lane closures as part of the I-10 Widening Project in East Baton Rouge Parish. These closures, which are necessary for the progression of the project, will affect night traffic patterns.
DOTD advises motorists that construction activities are contingent on weather conditions and may be subject to change.
Nighttime Closures
I-10 Westbound Flyover to Mississippi River Bridge
- Friday, May 1 to Monday, May 4
- Nightly full closure from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.
I-110 Southbound Exit Ramp to Mississippi River Bridge
- Alternating closure, weather dependent
- Sunday, May 3 to Monday, May 4
- Full closure from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.
- Note: If weather conditions allow crews to work on the I-110 southbound exit ramp Sunday night, the I-10 westbound flyover will not be closed during that time. Only one direction of the interstate will be closed at a time.
I-10 EB/ WB from College Dr. exit to Government St. exit
- Wednesday, May 6 to Friday, May 8
- Mobile operation begins at 7 p.m. on I-10 WB. I-10 EB will begin at 10 p.m. The operation will be finished by 5 a.m.
I-110 Southbound Exit Ramp to Mississippi River Bridge
- Friday, May 8 to Monday, May 11
- Nightly full closure from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.
