BUT: Widening I-10 will not improve traffic! “Induced Demand” is real! Why can’t we try “REDUCED demand” instead, and spend the money on public transit or widening the bridge, or building a new bridge. You can make the top of the funnel as wide as you want, but if the spout stays the same size, it does nothing! $360 Million thrown out the window.
