Weekend Nighttime Closures Announced

Baton Rouge – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) announces lane closures as part of the I-10 Widening Project in East Baton Rouge Parish. These closures, which are necessary for the progression of the project, will affect night traffic patterns.

Diagrams locating these closure locations and corresponding recommended detour routes are provided at the bottom of this message. DOTD advises motorists that construction activities are contingent on weather conditions and may be subject to change.

DOTD urges drivers to plan accordingly, allowing extra travel time and exercising caution when driving through construction zones. The safety of both the traveling public and construction workers is of utmost importance, and motorists should stay alert for work crews and their equipment.

 

Nighttime Closures:

I-110 southbound on-ramp from North Blvd.

  • Friday, April 10 to Monday, April 13
  • Nightly full on-ramp closure from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.

I-110 southbound ramp exit 1L to Mississippi River Bridge

  • Friday, April 10 to Monday, April 13
  • Nightly full ramp closure from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.

I-10 westbound flyover to Mississippi River Bridge

  • Friday, April 17 to Monday, April 20
  • Nightly full closure from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.
